Coaching and Counseling cost the same. Surprise! If you search around, you’ll likely find coaching services can cost significantly more per session than counseling. Not for me. I see both having equal value for different needs. Each session is approximately 55 minutes at a cost of $160. Payment is due at time of service. I do work on a sliding scale upon request and availability. Regarding insurance, please see below for more information. My available office or telehealth appointment times are between 11:00am and 6:00pm, Monday through Wednesday in Gainesville or Ocala, and Thursday through Friday in Ocala or via Telehealth. Insurance (Counseling Clients Only!)
Insurance Reimbursements:
Counseling is a regulated profession requiring extended education and training according to federal and state laws. Coaching on the other hand is not. As a result, insurance companies do reimburse for counseling services, depending on your individual policy and coverage, but they do not reimburse for coaching services. I am considered an Out-of-Network provider for all insurance companies at the moment. Generally, I provide a super bill and prefilled claim form for anybody wanting to submit a claim to their insurance provider. For clients with TriCare, you pay a $50 copay and I submit a claim for you.
